We’re Browns Maintenance Limited, a UK gardening business that started because I couldn’t get enough of working outside. I’ve always loved seeing a patch of land come together, whether it’s a scruffy lawn or an overgrown garden. Now, we look after all sorts of spots—blocks of flats, retirement complexes, hotels, bowling greens with their surrounding gardens, and even the grounds at Bournemouth Airport.

We don’t do one-size-fits-all here. Every place we work on gets its own plan—some need us weekly, others every couple of weeks or just once a month. It’s about what works for them. We’ve been doing this long enough to know every property’s got its own quirks, and we’re there to keep on top of them.

It’s not just mowing and trimming for us. We keep an eye out for the little things that can turn into big problems—blocked drains, fences leaning over, that sort of stuff. If we spot something, we get it sorted fast so it’s safe for everyone. No one wants a trip hazard on their doorstep, and we make sure that doesn’t happen.

From ponds to grass, we cover the lot. We’ve got a seasonal gig with Brownsville Garden Services too, which keeps us busy year-round. We’re fully insured up to £5 million, so there’s no worry there. At the end of the day, it’s about keeping these places looking decent and working right—nothing fancy, just proper care.
